Edwin Moser Obituary

Edwin Louis Moser

Edwin Louis Moser, born July 3, 1925, in Snohomish, Washington, passed away on Good Friday morning, March 25, at the age of 79.
Ed proudly served in the U.S. Army Infantry, WWII, seeing action in Germany. Returning to Snohomish, he engaged in logging operations along the western slopes of the Cascades.
Ed, and wife, Carole, and two children, moved to the interior of British Columbia, Lac in 1963, where they built up and operated a cattle ranch until 1986, when they retired. Ed spent much of that time as Deputy Brand Inspector for the area as well as operating a sizeable trapline.
Upon retirement, the Mosers spent several years on Gabriola Island, enjoying their boat along the British Columbia coastline, before making the final move to Creston, British Columbia.
Ed had a great love of the outdoors and manages to incorporate that love in all his occupations and instill these values in his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife, Carole, nee Lee, of Creston, B.C.; daughter, Wendy (Dave) Muhic of Lac La Hache, B.C.; grandsons, Zachary of Kelowna, B.C., and Bart of Vancouver, B.C.; granddaughter, Shawna of Vancouver, B.C.; brothers, Don of Mesa, Arizona, and Carl of Yakima, Washington.
Ed was predeceased by his son, Gary; brothers, Ted and Larry Moser.
Following cremation, his ashes will rest with his son, at Lac La Hache, and a Celebration of His Life is planned for his birthday, July 3, 2005, at the ranch on Lac La Hache.
Donations may be made to a charity of choice.

To the Mosers...I remember Lac La Hache. My parents and sibleys came there with the Volunteer of America teens to help clean it up. I have never forgot it. I would have liked to come back for a visit but just never did. Don't remember Ed that much (I was only about 12) but have known Larry and Don forever. Many wonderful memories. My sympathy for those left behind.
