Mrs. Born , Bev, Ron, and Darlene and all your families,
We will miss Pastor Born . His memorial was so personal and touching. Pastor Born was such an influence in our family. He was a true picture of what I believe God describes as the "Good
Shepherd". I believe my mom and dad who loved him as one of their Dear pastors welcomed him as he came over the threshold. Their joy to see him again will be our joy one day again. Our prayers are for you all as I know how much we miss such an integral part of our family. Bless you. Della and Chris Yue. MonaLisa, and Kirk Douglas Estie, ps give John Wayne a hug for us as you all enjoy heaven.

Dear Family,
Our hearts were saddened to hear of the passing of your precious husband, father, grandfather and uncle, but we rejoice with you knowing He is with His precious Savior and Lord. He was such a dear friend to us over the years as our paths would cross. His kindness and genuine smile and interest in others is noteworthy and we so enjoyed the many times we visited during college days as he would visit NWU; as well as Montana family camps over the years. May God comfort each of you.
In Christ's love,

Pastor Born was our pastor before we entered full time ministry. He was such a great encouragement to us and other young ministers!
We will miss his "light up the room" smiles, his humor, his passion for Jesus, and his love of all people!
Until we meet again around the throne of Jesus!

Pastor Born was the pastor of the Bethany Temple where I grew up. Even as a young person, I can still see him at the pulpit preaching the word of God..

Steve and I were privileged to have Pastor Born marry us in Marysville in 1994. I met Pastor Born when my Aunt Keilani married his son Ron. I always enjoyed his humor and warmth whenever I had a chance to talk with him. He drew people to him and the Light of Christ shone through his smile. He will be missed but we know he is rejoicing in heaven. Can't wait to see him there some day.

Our love, prayers and thoughts are with the Born family. Pastor Born was very special to me,Bill and our families. We never knew anyone who came in touch with him that didn't feel his kindness and warmth. He was a true man of God and a class act wherever he went. We were privileged to be under his ministry in Missoula, Mt. Those were great days at First Assembly!!! Pastor Born will always be our "Special Pastor". Bill and Marilyn Iverson (Spokane Valley, Wa.)

The Bible says "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord" and it says that "precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.". Our prayers and thoughts are with Doris and the family during their time of loss. Brother Born was a model, a mentor and encourager during the years we pastored in Home Mission churches in the Northwest District and he continued to encourage and support us throughout our foreign missions ministry. He was truly a man of God, a pioneer and a pastor to all. We miss him, but will see him again around the throne!

Uncle Eugene had a great personality. On his 90th Birthday, he pointed to his hair line and joked that it had it's "parting ways." He was such a great example of a man who loved God.

This man was the Model of a Pastor that should be followed by all young ministers. All the pastors we have had over the years since Bethany Temple days are judged by the Model we experienced in Bother Born. Our children feel the same way. We are so thankful to have been led by this man of God. Thanks to the Family for sharing him with us over the years.
