MaryLou Lindblom

MaryLou Lindblom adored wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 6, 2012. Born April 5, 1932 in Everett, WA as MaryLou McGillivray to parents, Lewis and Myrtle McGillivray, she was raised in Granite Falls, WA.
MaryLou was known for being a feisty redhead who very much loved her family. Her interests included decorating, fast cars, as well as a great affinity for frogs and her cats. MaryLou worked as a talented florist for many years, employing her talent in Marysville, WA as well as Seattle, WA. She spent many years driving for DART in Snohomish County, where she retired from. In December 1981 MaryLou married her soulmate, Hugo Lindblom III. Their greatest joy was spending time with their family, especially their grandchildren.
MaryLou is survived by her children, Rick Harvey (Laura Harvey), Yvonne Harvey, Hugo Lindblom IV (Christy Lindblom), and Lyle Lindblom; grandchildren, Yvette Jones (Dave Jones), Angela Horton (Eric Horton), Rozana Harvey, Laryssa Harvey, Nathaniel Lindblom, and Kirsten Lindblom; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Camryn, Gavin and Alan, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Don McGillivray; and Hugo, her beloved husband. The family finds great comfort knowing that MaryLou has been reunited with her true love, Hugo.
No formal memorial service will be held at her request.

<3 WHAT IS A GRANDMA.....A grandma is warm hugs and sweet memories. She remembers all of your accomplishments and forgets all of your mistakes. She is someone you can tell your secrets and worries to, and she hopes and prays that all your dreams come true. She always loves you, no matter what. She can see past temper tantrums and bad moods, and makes it clear that they don't affect how precious you are to her. She is an encouraging word and a tender touch. She is full of proud smiles. She is the one person in the world who loves you with all her heart, who remembers the child you were and cherishes the person you've become? i miss that fiesty spunky grandma, i miss her voice saying HI THERE! or CUT THAT OUT! when im sneezin. i miss dropping by her house unannounced just to visit and watch her daytime shows with her. she was always so suprized & happy everytime. it gives me great comfort in knowing that she is with her love, hugo. until we meet again grammies <3 yvette
