William H. "Bill" Koerber obituary, 1947-2018, Everett, AZ

William Koerber Obituary

William "Bill" H. Koerber, 70, passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2018, in Everett, WA. He was born to Charles and Louella Koerber in Everett on October 25, 1947. His parents and five siblings; Betty Ceruti, Mary Ann Ostergaard, Juanita McLain, Gloria Koerber and Charles Koerber preceded him in death. He is survived by four nieces, six nephews and one angel, Barb Pitman. Bill grew up in Everett and loved the water. He was in his element fishing from a dingy or sailing a 32 footer. He graduated from Everett High School in 1966 and enlisted in the U.S. Army serving honorably in VietNam from 1969-1970. Subsequently, Bill enrolled at the University of Washington and earned a BS degree and top honors in his class and continued his studies earning a Master's degree in taxation. He was a genius with numbers and member of Mensa Inter-national. Bill worked for the IRS for several years and later opened a private practice on Lake Wash-ington. He most recently lived in Marysville. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1724 3rd St, Marysville, WA, on June 7, 2018, at noon. He will be interned at Tahoma National Cemetery.

Bill was a childhood neighbor and friend.
I was one of his tax clients in the 1980's.
We lived and work in Germany, and he loved doing all the currency conversation, and international tax law stuff. It's been many years since I last saw him, but the memories are good!
