Manuel P. Farias

Manuel P. Farias, age 96, of Swansea passed away July 4, 2017. He was the husband of Lorraine (Pereira) Farias and son of the late Manuel and Maria (Pereira) Farias. He and Lorraine had celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary. He had worked at the Abrasive Machine Shop, the Mt. Hope Machine Shop and retired from the Central Service Dept. of Truesdale Hospital. He was a member of the Masons, the Calvary Temple and he was a WWII U.S. Army veteran. He enjoyed farming and above all loved the Lord. He also leaves several nieces and nephews. Manuel was the brother of the late August P. and Frank P. Farias. His funeral will take place in the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc., 1521 N. Main St., Fall River Sunday with a funeral service from 1-1:30 PM followed by calling hours until 4 PM. Cremation to follow. www.rogersfuneral.com
