Dr. Myron Rubinstein

1928 - 2015

Dr. Myron Rubinstein died in Tulsa this past Saturday, December 19th. He was born Sept. 9, 1928 in Fall River and lived in the city for the majority of his life. For the last nine years he lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma where his family resided. Myron was the son of the late Phillip and Sayde (Madowsky) Rubinstein. He graduated from Northern Illinois College of Optometry in 1949. He then served in the U.S. Army on active duty, and continued U.S. Army Reserve service for the next 25 years. Upon completion of his active military service, he established his optometric practice in Fall River until his retirement in 2006. He was active in the camera club, little theater and was a state officer in the Masonic organization. He was also a member of Temple Beth El and had served as their president. Myron enjoyed traveling and traveled extensively around the world. He also had a great passion for classical music and had a large collection of classical music. Myron was preceded in death by his sisters Racheal Bedrick and Rosalind Bolusky. He is survived by his nephews Eric Bolusky of Tulsa and Jeffrey Bedrick of Philadelphia.
