Nancy Pollyea Obituary

Nancy Adrianne Pollyea, 72, of St. Joseph passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at the Hanson Hospice Center, Lincoln Township.

Family services will be held at a later date in Hickory Bluff Cemetery in Lincoln Township next to her husband, and cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by the Fairplain Chapel of Florin Funeral Service in Benton Township. Please share memories or messages at www.florin.net.

Nancy was born on June 20, 1951, in St. Joseph to Robert and Macille Kline. She graduated in 1974 from Western Michigan University with a bachelor of arts in English. Nancy married her husband, Randall Pollyea, on July 7, 1973, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 8, 2018. Her husband was a manager at Michigan Standard Alloys and was active in the Experimental Aircraft Association. Nancy was a top salesperson for the Tupperware Company. She also was a unit clerk at Lakeland Hospital for over 20 years. Nancy enjoyed playing the flute and piccolo and at her retirement from the St. Joseph Municipal Band she was the longest standing member of the municipal band, having played with them for over 50 years. She also was into crafts and was involved with Stampin'Up!. Nancy enjoyed and loved her family.

Nancy is survived by her three sons: Aaron (Darlene) Pollyea of Lansing, Mich., Joshua (Chelsea) Pollyea of Stevensville, and Seth Pollyea of St. Joseph; her sister, Cindy Lyon of St. Joseph, and her three grandchildren: Boden, Brooke and Betsy.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Mike "Foot" Kline.

Nancy was such a sweet lady, Randy and her are now reunited once again, may God Bless her. She will surely be missed.
