Willie Liddell

1943 - 2022

Mr. Willie "Mr. Bill" Liddell was born on March 30, 1943, in LaGrange, Tenn.

He departed this life on Feb. 1, 2022, at home with his loving wife of 52 years.

Homegoing services will be on Feb. 19, at Robbins Brothers Funeral Home, with visitation starting at 10 a.m. followed by services at 11 a.m.

Willie was a devoted and dedicated employee at August Pohl for 50-plus years, now known as Josh's Auto Parts on Pipestone Road.

Mr. Willie Liddell leaves behind his loving wife of 52 years, Stella Mae Brown Liddell; a son, Ben Fair Brown; daughters: Corliss Brown Mhaye and Tyra Reed; grandsons: Holden McKinley Liddell, Devan Rene' Brown; (special daughter-in-law, Emily Koon); Nicholas Paden Terrell Brown (Vicky Polu), Corey Conley Jr., Kenjuan Conley and Terriance Barbee Jr.; granddaughters: Keisha Nicole Terry and Nakaya Kiera Rudley, Shanice Conley and Chyna Reed; 12 great-grandchildren; his sister, Mrs. Alice Ferguson, a brother, Mr. Earl (Riko) Liddell; brother-in-law, and best friend, Earl Brown; a special cousins-in-law, Robin Perkins, Renee Gentry; and a host of nieces and nephews that he loved and cherished.

Willie was preceded in death by his daughter, Willa Media Liddell, in December 2019; his father, Willie Liddell Sr., his mother, Savanna (Payne) Liddell; brothers: Thomas Liddell, Joe Liddell, George Liddell and James Liddell, John Liddell, and sisters: Emma Hull, Roberta (Liddell) Redmond, Suzie L. Peoples.
