Eugene S. Kralik

Eugene S. Kralik, 75, Venice, died July 3, 2006, at his residence. He was born Aug. 17, 1930, in Johnstown, Pa., and came to the Venice area 49 years ago. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War as an airman second class, and was a recipient of the National Defense Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal. He was a longtime store manager with Venetian Auto Supply in Venice. He was a member of Epiphany Cathedral and American Legion Post 159, both in Venice. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Irene; sons Mark of Sarasota and Matthew of North Port; a sister, Ann of Cleveland; a brother, George of Johnstown, Pa.; and two grandsons. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Epiphany Cathedral. Burial will be in Venice Memorial Gardens. Ewing Funeral Home, Venice Chapel, is in charge.
