Dr. med. Karl Max Seitz, 88, and his beloved wife of 66 years, Hannelore Seitz, 89, died within a couple days of each other.
Karl and Hannelore were married on June 23, 1945. They lived in Hamburg, Germany where Karl worked as a surgeon and urologist and where Hannelore tended their home and family.
In 1976, Karl and Hannelore immigrated to Sarasota, Florida where they spent many years sailing their beloved 'Ragtime' while opening their home, heart, mind, and soul to many a friend they made.
Karl and Hannelore had been married for more than sixty-six years to experience life as one. A bond this strong transcends the tangible and is bound to remain this way ad infinitum.
On Earth, Karl and Hannelore live on in their children,
Carl Hans Seitz (Andrea), Ursula von Bargen-Seitz Fortner (John Kelley); their grandchildren, Priv. -Doz. Dr. med. Carl Christian Seitz, Joachim Karl Seitz, Raphael Creon Thyestes Floyd Hermes von Bargen (Daniela); and their great-grandchildren, Karl Hagen Seitz, Sarah Annabel Bielik, Emilia Alexandra Felice Muehlbauer von Bargen, and Naima Muehlbauer von Bargen
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Jennings Funeral Home and Crematory, 5750 Swift Road, Sarasota, FL. 34231.
