Lisa Coleman Obituary

Coleman (Fast), Lisa
August 3, 1967 - January 19, 2017
Lisa K. (Fast) Coleman, age 49, died on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Tidewell Hospice, a loving and caring facility in Venice, Florida. She was born August 3, 1967, in Sarasota, to Loren and Judy (Yoder) Detweiler and was the oldest of two children. She was a 1985 graduate of Lake High School in Hartville, Ohio. She made friends everywhere she went, and she nourished everyone around her with love, laughter, and food! Lisa truly had an uncanny ability to touch people and make them feel special and welcome. She dedicated herself to her son, family, friends, and her dogs Taz, Junior, Lulu, and Isabella. Lisa's special interests and hobbies included laughing and eating with friends and family, doing arts and crafts projects, gardening, and collecting unique things to display like matchboxes, miniatures, and southwestern style imagery. Above all, she loved to cook! Lisa loved to cook for everyone. No matter what she was cooking she put in extra effort to make it special, pretty, or unique; and most importantly tasty. She loved to see people eat her food and see their face as they took their first few bites. Left to honor Lisa and remember her love are her parents; her husband, Scott Coleman; her brother, Bryan Detweiler; her niece, Tesla Detweiler; her son, Derek Fast; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Family, friends, and others whose lives Lisa touched are invited to the Abundant Life Church, 6461 Proctor Rd. Sarasota, from 11 am - 3 pm on Saturday, February 18, 2017, to reminisce and celebrate Lisa's life. Should friends desire, memorials and donations may be made in Lisa's name to the Abundant Life Church or Tidewell Hospice.

Lisa made the greatest salmon patties ever!
In fact I never had them before she made them for me, and never had them after. But I still have never forgotten how amazing they were.
God bless Lisa, she is gone way too soon.
