We only learned last night (April 23) about Mary's passing. Had we known, we would have attended the funeral. Mary and Ralph were wonderful, warm neighbors next door in Venice, FL. So often I enjoyed visiting and chatting with Mary. We will miss her greatly.
God bless her family.

Hubbard family,
We're sorry to hear of Aunt Mary's passing and not being able to attend the funeral. We do not get back to Michigan until May 1st. Losing a close family member is so difficult. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you during this difficult time. Aunt Mary was such a class act and the "hub" of the Hubbard family. She will easily be accepted into heaven and greeting you all again when the time comes. You should all be so proud of the memories she helped create.

We are very saddened to hear of Aunt Mary's passing. I have many fond memories of relative gatherings when John, Mary, Bill, and their families all lived in the greater Detroit area. She could not have picked a better final resting spot than the beautiful Torch Lake area.

Hubbard Family,
We had recently heard that Aunt Mary was not doing well. Tim, thank you so much for the call. Obviously, we were very sad to hear the news, I cannot imagine the passing of a parent. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Hubbard Family. It was comforting to hear that the kids and grandkids got in town to see her before she passed.
We wanted to share our favorite story about Aunt Mary. It was in late September on a Sunday about 12 years ago. Dawn and I were out on the lake taking our jetski for one last ride of the season it was cold and getting dark nobody was on the lake to help us. The boat died just north of them. So, i had to walk barefoot thru the water on all those rocks about 1 to 2 miles pulling the boat to their house. I made it to their dock and walked up to their door cold and wet. I said Hi Aunt Mary and Uncle Ralph this is my new wife, we had just had our surprise wedding that weekend. They were very surprised to see us and helped us get the boat running and away we went back across the lake. They saved the day.
She will be laid to rest in a beautiful place within a mile of our cabin, we will be by to visit her from time to time.
God Bless you Aunt Mary and Uncle Ralph.
