Robert was a beautiful treasure that lead us before the throne of God every service that we attended. His anointing was a powerful gift to the body of Christ that would literally make me weep over the goodness of God during worship. We trust you Jesus to bind up the broken hearted in this family and turn this into an opportunity to inflict serious damage to the kingdom of darkness.
Pastor Robert has had such an impact on our lives.
He is the only worship leader in the world that I have met
to pour out Gods presence. What a reward it has been
to meet him. He had so much compassion for the hurting souls and
had a sincere, sweet, and a powerful infuence for all !!!

I hope, from my heart, that your pain will decrease,
That your spirit will gain strength again,
And I pray that your faith will create inner peace....
And that God will send blessings....
When those we love have left this earth, we still can feel them near. We’ll see a picture, hear a song, and it’s just like they are here. And when we call upon our faith, when we believe and trust, we know the ones we care about are always close to us. I met Robert back in 2005 when my husband was at the Harvest House and he and the whole church was a Blessing to me. I will always remember his smile.

I have known Robert for many years here at SMH. His laugh was infectious, his smile bright and warm, he was someone you wanted to be around. I still hear him saying "howyadoing" with that great big smile, he explained that you say it all in one word. My Sincere sympathy to his family, what a terrible loss.

Robert, I didn't know you all that long, but for the short time I did I felt very blessed. You lit up the whole room with your presence up on stage. The twinkle in your eye, your wonderful smile and the energy you gave off when you opened your mouth was so uplifting. You will be missed greatly.

My family and I met Robert when we visited my sister in Bradenton a few years ago. His fun spirit and hospitality made our visit one that is still remembered today. Whenever we speak about Harvest Tabernacle Roberts name is always mentioned and we always planned to visit him again someday. Our heart felt condolences to his wife, children, grand children, family, church family and friends. May God comfort and keep you in this your time of bereavement.

To Linda:
I met Robert several years ago shortly after you'll got married. He left me with a thought. He said, " whenever you are down in your faith " it's okay to trust Him".... But, "DO YOU BELIEVE"; DO YOU TRUELY BELIEVE IN HIS WORD". I love you

I will always remember the laughter and levity that Robert brought to the clinical setting at SMH.
I was in awe when I first heard him lead praise and worship with a group of teenagers after Columbine.
He always said that as believers, nothing could take what we have, a living Christ inside of us. My life was better for having known him.

I was one of many who had the good fortune to work with Robert at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. When Robert entered a room or came on a unit he brought with him a larger than life smile and alot of joy. More often than not half of the crew would break into song with Robert leading and we all were the better for it. Robert invited me to sing in the Gospel Choir he formed for Sarasota Memorial. What a time we had. Robert had the whole place rocking, just as he did at his church. What an incredible talent he was. What a wonderful heart he had. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I remember Robert Summers when I was a little girl My mother would take my brother and me to his mother's house. They would talk about the lord and discuss the bible all the time and play the keyboard. I think he helped my mother learn about keyboards and how to play them. I was very shocked to hear that this man is gone he really loved the lord and was a well known respected man of God I know he will be missed.
