My Prayers go up for Vonnicea Barnes, I worked with her at the Old Gulfport VA, and have many fond memories of her. I use to see her and some of her friends from the old Gulfport VA at the local harbors like Long Beach, Pass Christian, and Gulfport harbor fishing at night under the lights. She was always in good spirits, and treated me kind of like a friend and a son. Before she retired from the old Gulfport VA as a Housekeeper, she always kept the areas under her charge highly cleaned. I will miss her, and have look for her constantly since hurricane Katrina at the local harbors, always wondering where she was. Now I know, she is Heaven bound, in the arms of JESUS, \ O / Amen.
