Austin Brian Carroll, 49, of Hildebran, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2023, at Carolina Caring of Newton.
Born in Roanoke County, Virginia, on August 12, 1973, to the late Kevin Lee and Elizabeth Kay Simpson Carroll.
In addition to his parents, his wife, Tiffany Carroll, and an infant brother, William Carroll, preceded him in death.
Brian was the Circulation Director for Hickory Daily Record. He was a kind generous father, he has dedicated many years to East Burke Band Program and Travel ball. Friends and family will miss him deeply.
His son, Brent Jacob Carroll of Hildebran, and his brother, Cory Carroll and wife, Ashton, of Roanoke, Va., survive him.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at 5 p.m. at Hickory Funeral Home Chapel. The family will gather after the service.
Private burial will follow the next day at King Family Cemetery, Bent Mountain, Virginia.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to East Burke Band Boosters/Percussion, P.O. Box 177, Icard, NC 28666, in Brian Carroll's memory.
