April 19, 1940 - April 21, 2022
Donald Lee White, 82, of Newton, died Thursday, April 21, 2022, at Catawba Valley Medical Center.
Born April 19, 1940, he was the son of the late Troy Clinton White and Etha Clontz White.
Deer hunting was his life. Donald enjoyed wildlife and being outdoors.
His wife, Murray Amelia White, preceded him in death.
He is survived by his daughters, Amy White and Donna Blevins, both of Newton; granddaughters, Savannah Blevins and Taylor Blevins, both of Newton; great-grandson, Abriel Carson of Newton; brothers, Floyd White of Hickory, Ralph White of Conover, and T.C. White of Sanford; and sister, Helen White Sigmon of Wilmington.
A celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m., Friday, April 29, in the Jenkins Funeral Home Celebration Center.
The White family would like to thank Trinity Village for the kindness and compassion they showed Donald while he was in their care.
