John Franklin Obituary

John Franklin FALLSTON John Kavann Franklin, 35, of Claremont, died Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012, at Caldwell Memorial Hospital in Lenoir. He was born July 20, 1977, in Ulster County, N.Y., to Cathy Wagner Carroll and the late Mark Kavann Franklin. In addition to his mother, John is survived by a daughter, Braelynn; his stepfather, Jimmy Carroll; half sister, Leslie Wagner, of Hickory; grandmother, Mildred Wagner; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; wife, April Grace; and fiancee, Jennifer Brown Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 21, at Stamey Funeral Home of Fallston. The memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday, at the Stamey Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be the Rev. Dennis Bean. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Stamey Funeral Home, P.O. Box 639, Fallston, NC 28042, to help defray funeral expenses. A guest register is available at stamey funeralhome.com. Arrangements are by Stamey Funeral Home of Fallston.
