I was a classmate from Preston High and was so saddened to hear of Danny's passing. May I send my deepest condolences to your family. I thought of how to describe Dan, and it was simple - just a guy who wanted to make people smile and didn't care what the world thought. He was such a great friend to all of us. What a neat legacy he has left to carry on his love for life. May the Lord bless you all. Debbie Keller Haworth, Othello, Washington.

Dear Tammy and Family,
I have just learned of Dan's passing, as I have been out of town for business. I have so many good memories of you and your family, starting 29 years ago when you and Dan moved on McCormick street, and I started to deliver the newspaper to you. I remember Dan being my scout leader, and taking us to a family farm to fish, and spend the day making memories. I remember when Angela and I moved on Eldredge, and how happy I was that we were all in the same neighborhood again. I also remember how excited you all were when Angela and I found out we were expecting our first kid. Your response was:"We're so excited! I feel like we are going to be grandparents." You and Dan have had such a positive influence on me and my family.
Dan was such a great guy, and I'm a better person for knowing him, and you!

My husband just passed away from ALS on August 13th so I can relate to some of what your family is going through. It is such a wicked disease. We only wish that they would find a cure. Good luck to you.

Blessings and heartfelt condolences to Dan's entire family. He had a special way to spread his joy, and happiness to all those he knew, loved, and came in contact with. His time was too short here,he will be missed but he will live endearingly in the hearts of those he touched. May you find comfort in the wonderful memories that he left behind, and take strength in the knowledge you will all be re-united in love, health, and happiness.

Dear Tammy and family,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. We lived in Pocatello only a year, but the impact that you both had on our lives is lifelong. I remember the time Dan showed up on our doorstep dressed in his policeman gear and asked for Emily (then a 5 year old girl who was scared to death of policemen). He talked to her and took it upon himself to help her not be so afraid. It was awesome. I have never forgotten his kind gesture that had a lifelong impact!

Tammy - even though in has been several years since I saw Dan - seeing him recently on Facebook - was so enjoyable and reminded me what a fun and friendly guy Dan has always been. May the Lord bless and comfort you through this difficult time.
