Max was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Throughout his life he served in a variety of callings. He and Meredith have served the past five years as host missionaries at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. He enjoyed meeting visitors from all over the world.
Max is survived by his wife, Meredith, and his four children: Mark (Diane) of River Heights, Curt (Shirleen) of Elwood, Nancy (Russ) of Garland, Jan (Dane) of Spanish Fork, 15 grandchildren, soon to be 15 great-grandchildren and a brother, Dee Weese.
