Adam Gambarella Obituary
Memorial visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 4690 Hwy. 311 in Houma. A memorial talk will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
He is survived by his daughters, Cindy Matthews Rosa and husband, Clay, Jodie G. Wunstell and husband, Don, and Erica G. Waguespack and husband, Randy; son, Tracey A. Gambarella and wife, Pam; brothers, Lovincie "Vince" Gambarella Jr. and wife, Betty, Roy Gambarella, and wife, Ella, and Michael Gambarella and wife, Carolyn; grandchildren, Layla W. O'Brien and husband, R.J., Laycie Dickens and husband, Ryan, Meredith Cadow, Kyle Cadow, Barret Gentz, Spencer Gentz, Micah Adam Gambarella, and Eddie, Michael, and Robert Waguespack; and great-grandchildren, Karleigh Gordon, Robbi O'Brien, Xavier Dickens, Gracie Latham, Taylor and Bailey O'Brien, and Aiden Waguespack.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lovencie Gambarella Sr. and wife, Lelia C.; and wife, Mary Lynn Gambarella.
Capt. Gambarella was a retired Master Pilot. He was well known for time spent as a volunteer at TGMC and Chabert Medical Center. He also was a greeter at the eastside Wal-Mart for years.
He was proud to be one of Jehovah's Witnesses. He had served as an elder and was willing to share his faith with all he met. He was a devoted father and grandfather.
Special thanks goes to the staff at Chabert Medical Center for the efforts to keep Adam comfortable.
Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.

All I can say is that this man had a lot of class. He taught me how to be a man in certain ways in my life. I will miss him. I always look at him as being my 2nd father. Love ya and Miss you.

I still remember the times I would come visit ya'll in Houma and Morgan City. Those were the best times ever. We will miss you greatly. You were like a father to me . I know you are at peace now. I am glad you got to meet Kodi.
