Herman Rogers Obituary
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday, July 29, at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, Bayou Blue. Visitation will continue at 9 a.m. on Monday, July 30, at St. Louis Catholic Church. Religious service will take place at 11 a.m. Burial will take place in the St. Louis Cemetery.
He is survived by his daughter, Charlene Rogers Porche and husband, Charles "Chuck"; son, Ricky Rogers and wife, Stephanie "Tini"; brother, Roy Rogers; grandsons, Chris Rogers, Tim Porche, Paige Rogers, Clint Porche, Brandon Rogers, and Garrett Rogers; great-granddaughters, Alyssa Rogers, Kallie Rogers, and Ellie Rogers; great-grandsons, Kade Rogers, William Porche, and Grayson Rogers; and daughter-in-law, Marguerite Rogers.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Agatha Marcel Rogers; father, Eusebe Rogers; mother, Clamelia Rogers; son, Cleveland "Sue Sue" Rogers; brothers, E.J. Rogers and Houston Rogers; and sisters, Ella Quatrevingt, Mabel Pichauffe, and Eddress Foret.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma, Bayou Blue is in charge of arrangements.
