He was preceded in death by his brother David Whipple.

To all whom I wish to call FRIENDS, thank you very much for being my friend, I Love You. To my family and my wonderful wife to whom I owe so much, two extra special sons, and my wonderful grandson and great-grandchildren, words cannot express my gratitude for all you have given me.

Words can't express my sadness. Jack and I lived about 1 1/2 blocks apart and spent much time together from grade school on. After high school it was only at class reunions. Never the less I still remember his wide grin and infectious laugh
