Annetta Faye Franks "Netta" Hill

ANNETTA ("NETTA") FAYE FRANKS HILL - - - Passed away on Saturday, June 24 in Pasadena, Texas. Netta was born on November 28, 1920 in Charleroi, PA to Joseph T. and Edna Sarah Dean Franks. She married V.A. "Bud" Hill in 1948 and moved to Texas in 1950. Netta and Bud owned and operated Bud Hill's Steakhouse in Pasadena during the 1970's. Many residents of the area recall enjoying great meals and celebrating special occasions at Bud Hill's. Netta and Bud were always there to insure that their guests received special treatment. She had a zest for life and enjoyed meeting people and sharing humorous stories and life experiences. Netta will be dearly missed by her children - - Dana Hill, Barbara Goff, Dean Schwartz and wife Veronica, Sharri Calvin and husband Donnie, and Marlene Schwartz. Grandchildren include Kelli, Kristi, Nanette, Dean, Austin, Brandon, Traci, John, and Cody. She also leaves 15 great grandchildren and a number of friends, in addition to her dear sister, Elouise Sutherland, of Pennsylvania. At Netta's request, no memorial service will be held. In lieu of usual remembrances, memorials may be made in her name to the charity of your choice.
