Dear Verner Family,

I was not aware of Gene's passing, out of town and was just informed. My Dad (Frank De La Cruz)and I had the great pleasure of working with Gene for as many years to when he joined Gibraltar Fence Company. He truly made working with him a joy, with laughte, a wonderful spirit and getting the job done. My dad passed away 2010, on his final days I mentioned to him that I talked to Gene and he smiled and said "Gene is a good man". From the Frank and Gilbert De La Cruz Family we offer our most sincere condolences
