Eugenia Moore Obituary

Eugenia "Jean" Moore, 77, of Adel, passed away Saturday at her residence in Adel, Ga. She was born June 22, 1932, in Sopchoppy, Fla., to the late Hardy Green Revell and the late Lucy Miriam Revell. She lived for a short time in Tallahassee, Fla., before moving to Adel, where she lived most of her life. Moore retired from the telephone company and also served with the pink ladies auxiliary. She was a member of the Evergreen Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Lawrence Brooks "L.B." Moore Adel, Ga.; son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Nell Moore Birmingham, Ala.; two grandchildren and spouses, Rebecca and Jared Phillips Harvest, Ala., Jonathan and Kristie Moore Ringgold, Ga.; four great-grandchildren, Kori, Kadyn and Kampbell Moore and Brooks Phillips; a brother, Hardy G. Revell Jr., Crawfordville, Fla.; sisters Mary Lenora Parker, Valdosta, Ga., Marie Smith Buzbee, Woodville, Fla., Mattie Revell Jordan, Woodville, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Moore was preceded in death by four brothers, Don Revell, George N. Revell, D. Wesley Revell, Lawrence Parker Revell, and one sister, Elaine Revell Matthews. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on South 41 on Sunday from 6 - 8 p.m. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Evergreen Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Brannen officiating. — Boone-Lipsey Funeral Home.
