Gordon Haynes Obituary
Gordon Henry Haynes passed away on Friday, November 15, 2013, at his home in Houston, at the age of 57 years.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Teresa Haynes; son, Clayton Haynes and Kayley; daughter, Kendall Haynes; granddaughter, Palmer Jo; mother, Dorrace Haynes; sister, Beth Lyckman and her husband Lewis; and one niece, four nephews, and numerous other family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 21, 2013, at the Schmidt Funeral Home Chapel, in Katy. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 22, 2013, at the Bear Creek United Methodist Church, with Rev. Will Knuckols officiating.
Pallbearers will be Troy Benbow, Jim Astin, Maj. Lewayne Lyckman, Christopher Keith, Justin Keith, and Shawn Keith. Acting as honorary pallbearer will be Patrick Gillespie.
Those wishing to make memorial gifts may do so to Bear Creek United Methodist Church, 16000 Rippling Water Dr., Houston, TX 77084.
