GRACE YVONNE DOSS BURRIS

GRACE YVONNE DOSS BURRIS, 89, passed away Sunday evening, March 14, 2010. She was born on September 21, 1920 in Houston, Texas to Eugene and Ruth Doss. Grace will always be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a member of St. Christopher's Episcopal Church where she played the organ for many years and later became a member of Friendswood Friends Church.Grace was preceded in death by her parents, husband William M. Burris, Sr. of Houston, brother Richard "Dick" Doss of Houston, and sister Ruth Young of Houston. She is survived by her sister-in-law Naomi Doss of Houston; son William M. Burris, Jr. and wife Gail of Hempstead, Tx, daughter Beverly Weatherall and husband Ed of Friendswood, Tx, son Mark Burris of Houston, grandchildren Elise Sellingsloh and husband Bob of Houston, Kirk H. Milling and wife Rachel of Alpharetta, Ga, E. Rollin Weatherall and wife Mary of Friendswood, Tx, Dr. Justin M. Weatherall and wife Angela of New York City, NY, Christopher Burris of Austin, Tx; and great-grandchildren, John and Laura Ann Sellingsloh; Hunter, Hayden, and Austin Milling; and Loralai June Weatherall.Grace's family would like to invite you to a visitation Tuesday, March 16, 2010 from 6-8 P.M. at Earthman Funeral Directors-Hunters Creek. A service celebrating Grace's life will be Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. Concluding services Grace will rejoin her husband William M.
