My sincere condolences to the family of James Watson. Prior to my own retirement from ExxonMobil in 1986, much of my career activities was at times closely associated with James'. A true gentleman, his friendship was one that I'll treasure. Arch.

James was my first supervisor at Humble Oil in the Prudential Bg. offices. We worked together in three different locations until I resigned in 1979. He was a good person to work with, and we shared a lot of laughs. Especially when I accidentally spilled a class of ice water in his shoes when sitting behind him at a Rice-Tulane football game in the '60s. He will be in my prayers.
