He is preceded in death by his father, Eugene Gonzales, Sr.; brother, Jacob Ray Gonzales; grandfather, Ismael Gonzales; grandmother, Grandma Veve. Joseph is survived by his wife, Sarah Gonzales; mother, Laura Atkinson & stepdad, Louie; siblings, Jess Osbourn (Mikie Gilmore), Geneco Gonzales (Virginia Moreno), Timmy Atkinson, Matt Gonzales (Rose Vitela), Tina Gonzales (Luis Sosa), Josh Rene Gonzales (Carla Cuellar), Albina Gonzales, and brother in-law, John Vasquez (Monica); honorary son, Popo; grandmothers, Rachel "Memo" Lechuga, and Mary Osbourn (Mike); grandfathers, Juan Coronado, and Felipe (2nd grandfather); Godmother, Liz; mother and father in-law, Daddy Tony & Rosie Vasquez; aunts, Elvia (Tortilla) Coronado, Velma Gonzales, Clara Duran, Elbie Carls, Lenora Coronado (Pino Lopez), and his second mom, Lilly Rios (Honey Rios); uncles, Joe Flores (Diane), Ismael Gonzales (Paula), Randy Osbourn, Uncle Ricky, and Uncle Frankie; nephews, Chris, Randy, Jacob, Justin, Koolie, Jacob M., Baby Gene, Joel, Dustin, Brian, Baby Josh, and Tonito; nieces, Lorraine, Elysia, Priscilla, Delilah, Alize, Trinity, Cheyenne, and Savannah; his precious pitbull, Princess.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 4, 2013, from 4-9 PM at Crespo Funeral Home - Navigation Chapel, with a Wake Service being held at 6 PM. The family will receive visitors the following morning at the funeral home, before departing in procession to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church for a 10 AM Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
