It has been eight months since you left us and I am checking off each day, holiday and special event that comes around and you are not there to celebrate with us. Yesterday was Michael's 12th birthday and while I know he missed you not being there, he seemed to enjoy Dad and Jonathon being able to celebrate it with him. He is so tall, you would not believe it, 5'9" with a size 12 shoe. Buying his last pair of shoes you gave him money for was the hardest on him, he would pick out a pair and then put them back and say they have to be perfect because this is the last pair grandma will ever buy me and they have to be perfect. We all miss you so much and we wish you were here. Christmas is going to be hard but that to shall pass and we will keep getting stronger and moving forward with life. Missing you everyday, love you so much, your son, Christopher

Bob, I received an email from Manny last night telling me about Kathy. I am so very sorry to hear about her passing. I treasure the memories I have of her during our days at UCP. She was a devoted employee and I never had to worry about anything in her program. She was a perfectionist when it came to the children we served. Please know that you and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers during this most difficult time.

Kathy was a very special neighbor to us. We still remember when she volunteered to be our daughter's grandmother for grandmothers day at her school; we mourn the loss of a very loving and passionate woman. She will truly be missed by her family and friends.
