Kevin, Colin and Lindsay -- I can't express enough the sadness I feel for your loss. On the other hand, I can't overstate my joy at having Lisa as a wonderful, loving roomate and friend. She will always be special to us and we will cherish our fond memories. God bless you all through this difficult time, but take comfort in the time you spent with Lisa. She will be missed. Our deepest sympathy and warmest wishes to all of the family.

I would like to share an observation about Lisa made by her friend Herb Fields, who is also now deceased. He described her as a person with a unique mix of southern charm and thumb-in-the-eye bluntness. As for myself, I knew her to be a caring and generous friend who had a terrific, ironic sense of humor combined with a complete lack of self-pity. She has been a brave fighter and is truly an inspiration for anyone going through something difficult and painful. My heart goes out to Kevin, Colin, Lindsay, and all her family.
