Dear Linda,
I am shocked and saddened at our planet's loss. Lloyd was a wonderful man, and I feel privileged to have known him, although briefly. A kinder, more gentle soul I have never met. Blessings and love to you on this most difficult journey. His adventure continues as does his sharing of his light with everyone he contacts ...throughout his eternal journey.
Much love and support,

Dear Linda;

As a colleague of llloyd's in London, England I had many opportunities to work with Lloyd or just chat with him once in a while about running or cats. He was a 'gentleman' and he will be sorely missed by all his friends in the UK.

Lloyd was first cousin to my mother, Imogene Mares, and whenever my mother came to Houston, we would visit his mother who was Imogene's "Aunt Mary." Mary talked lovingly about her wonderful son, "Lloyd, Jr." or "Butch" and her daughter, Jane. For over 30 years, we visited "Aunt Mary" and heard her wonderful stories about her two children. She was proud of both of them. Now Mother at age 89 is one of the few remaining early descendants of the Hays family. Both mother and I send our condolences and pray that God will sustain you in your grief.

There are so many wonderful things that can be said about Lloyd and I doubt that I ever conveyed to him what a truly magical person he always was. The quintessential gentleman, so courteous, thoughtful and kind. I was very impressed with his intelligence; he seemed to be up to date on so many topics. I'd forward him an email for his comments and I would get a very comprehensive reply -- a very impressive reply. While I've known him and Linda for many years I regret that I've never told them how important their friendship is to me, how much I cherish them both, and now how much I'll miss him. He was a man with two names (Lloyd and Butch) and I believe it was because he was too special to have just one! We will never forget you. And, Linda, if I can support you in any way, please let me know as your loss is so tremendous. You are a constant in my thoughts and I love you.
