Maurice L'Ecuyer M.D.

MAURICE L'ECUYER, M.D., beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend passed away on December 28, 2004. He is survived by his devoted wife, Denise; daughter, Marie-Claude; son, Pierre and daughter-in-law, Priscilla; his grandchildren, Lauren and Luc; and sister, Lise and brother-in-law Robert of Canada. His family will miss him dearly. Dr. L'Ecuyer was born July 1, 1933, in Montreal, Canada to Henri and Leonie L'Ecuyer. Dr. L'Ecuyer was a well respected orthopedic surgeon in Houston and retired in 1998. He was briefly employed by the JCAHO, Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations and enjoyed traveling all over the United States to different hospitals and meeting the different staff members. Dr. L'Ecuyer's family wishes to extend their grateful appreciation to the staff at M.D. Anderson for their making his last days with us in comfort and dignity. Visitation will be Friday, December 31, 2004 at 10:30 A.M. and a mass will follow at 11:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 507 S. 4th Street in Richmond, Texas in the chapel.
