Patsy Thiry Obituary

Patsy (Pat) L. Thiry passed away peacefully Jan. 2, 2012. She was born Apr 1, 1936, in Sweetwater, TX, where she spent her childhood, then moved to Pasadena in '63 where she raised her family. She was an English Lit major at San Jacinto College 1976/77, was in Who's Who of American Jr Colleges, had short stories/poems published, won awards for her writing and took computer/technical classes with her husband in the '80s. Pat was a published author of romance/mystery novels, with 103 books to her credit.
She was preceded in death by daughter Karen Sales and parents Chester and Rosilee Bearden. She is survived by husband of 34 years Clark Thiry, daughter Charlsa House, step-children Erron and Craig Thiry, Natalie Haines and Terry, son-in-law Michael Sales, 7 grandchildren Lindsay Johnson and Bobby, Brendon Sales and Brittany, Breanne Flowers and Justin, Amberlee Sales, Samantha Thiry, Gavin and Reese Haines and 4 great-grandchildren Aiden, Isaac, Isaiah and Ariel.
A private memorial will be held late January.
