Raymond Stallings Obituary

Stallings
Raymond Donald Stallings , better known as Don, passed into eternal life on March 26, 2011. Don graduated from Pasadena High School in 1950 and Texas A&M in 1954. He was a United States Air Force veteran.
Don is survived by his wife of 36 years, Doris, daughters Debra Williams, Susan Caldwell and Cynthia Lee; son-in-laws Fred Caldwell, Guy Condra and Jim Lee; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren, a sister and brother-in-law, Patsy and John Chappelear and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Don was the first in his family to graduate from Texas A&M and was followed by three children, two son-in-laws, two granddaughters and others. Don was a homebuilder and developer who founded a Houston based company called "The Orginals."
Don and Doris brought two families together in 1975 and Don was very proud to have all four children respect and claim each other as brothers and sisters. He and Doris equally loved all the children.
As he said before he passed, "It is a win win situation." Because of his faith, Don had no fear of death. Don is now in heaven with his Lord and with his beloved son David and other loved ones.
A Memorial Service honoring Don's life will be held at 2 PM, Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at First United Methodist Church in Kerrville, Texas.
Donations in Don's name may be made to the Peterson Medical Center and Peterson Medical Hospice, First United Methodist Church in Kerrville, the Texas A&M 12th Man Foundation or charity of your choice.
Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of the professionals at:
