Robert Kainer Obituary

ROBERT J. KAINER passed away Monday, July 21, 2003. Robert was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #3700, The Rotary Club, and the V.F.W. He worked for Earthman Funeral Home as a Funeral Director for over 41 years. Robert is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Kainer. He is survived by daughter, Betty Harwell and husband Jimmy; brothers, Leo Kainer, Leonard Kainer, and Erwin Kainer; stepchildren, Thomas and Edward Williams; 17 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00pm on Thursday, July 24, 2003 with a Rosary at 7:30pm at Earthman Gulf Chapel Funeral Home, 6300 Gulf Frwy., Houston, TX. Funeral services will be at 10:00am on Friday, July 25, 2003 at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 827 Sheldon Rd., Channelview, TX. with Father Chacko Puthumayil as Celebrant. Rite of Committal will follow at Houston National Cemetery in Houston, Texas. Pallbearers will be Ray Harwell, Darrell Kainer, Dib Hall, Jimmy Harwell, Robert Harwell, and Thomas Harwell. Honorary Pallbearers will be James Boyd and Dwayne Gramann.

Mr. Kainer was an extremely intellegent man. I have valued everything he taught me. He will be missed and his kindness will always remain.

I am so very sorry to hear about Mr. Kainer. I met him many years ago when I worked for Earthman Funerals. He shared many stories with me, and we had many laughs together. My prayers are with you at this time.
