Velosia Kibe Obituary

Velosia Ann Kibe
1950-2016
On December 6, 2016 Pastor Velosia Ann Kibe made her transition from earth to heaven. She served The Windsor Village Church Family as Associate Pastor from June of 1997 until her death. For more than 3 decades, she served several churches and people in need—especially children. In the last decade, the true joy of her ministry has been The Kingdom Builders' Center Kenya project. Along with her husband, Daniel, and a host of Kingdom minded volunteers, Pastor Kibe oversaw the development and construction of a home and safe haven for orphans. She will be missed. She survived by her husband Daniel Kibe, sons Evan and Michael Ledet, daughters Nicole and Celia Ledet, and grandsons Evan Jr and Jason Ledet.

Pastor Kibe was my mentor, anchor and confidant. There is a deep void and heart wrenching sadness knowing that she is gone. The world has truly lost one of the greatest advocates for Christ.

A beautiful kind soul has entered into God's Rest and Peace. She needs no prayers now - she has life at its best. We will be praying for your family, and I just thank God for the early years of my ministry when we would occasionally talk, and always encourage me to continue the walk. Thank God for Velosia Kibe!
