Wilma's journey through life was one marked by a deep commitment to the well-being of others, especially children. Her career as a substitute teacher and nanny allowed her to touch the lives of countless young individuals with her nurturing spirit. Wilma's gentle guidance and patient teaching left an indelible mark on the hearts and minds of those she cared for, shaping the future one child at a time.
In Caldwell, Idaho, where she passed away due to natural causes, Wilma was surrounded by the love and comfort of her family. Her beloved husband, George Buckley, stood by her side through life's many chapters, for 68 years. Together they raised a family rooted in love and mutual respect. Their daughter, Laura, and son, Joseph, along with her cherished grandchildren, Kimberly, Katie, Tara, Trisha, Joseph, Kody, Kieya, and Jacob, were the light of her life. Wilma's role as a matriarch was characterized by boundless love and support, and she was the cornerstone upon which family memories were built and treasured.
Wilma's passions extended beyond her professional work and into the realm of personal joys. She found solace and happiness in reading, with a book never far from her reach. Sewing was another pastime through which she expressed her creativity, crafting beautiful pieces for her family and friends.
