Jack Stalder Obituary
January 29, 1975 - September 3, 2016
Jack Douglas Stalder, 41, of Pocatello, Idaho passed away on September 3, 2016 at St. Alphonsus Reagional Hospital in Boise, Idaho, due to injuries sustained in a tragic automobile accident. Jack was born in Reno, NV on January 29, 1975 to his parents Erini and Terry Stalder.
At a very young age, Jack and his family moved to Pocatello where Jack spent the remainder of his life. Jack attended Tendoy Elementary, Alameda Jr. High, Highland High School, and Idaho State University. Jack was active in scouting and was an Eagle Scout.
Jack was truly a "Jack of all trade". Jack was an avid barterer, trade maker and yard seller. He enjoyed finding antiques and getting a good deal on anything. Jack enjoyed everything outdoors, but his true passion was fishing.
Jack first met his love, Marsha, on Labor Day weekend of 2007. Jack and Marsha eloped to Bozeman, MT on February 3, 2010. They had two daughters together, Georgia Erini and Annie Mae. Jack's daughters were the light of his life and they adored him. Jack shared a very special bond with his sister, mother and his father was his best friend. Jack had many friends from all over the world and he valued their friendships.
Jack was preceded in death by his grandparents Doug and Betty Stalder and Grandmother Mary Hall.
Jack is survived by his daughters Georgia (4) and Annie (1), wife Marsha, parents Erini and Terry, sister Rebecca, grandpa Jack Hall, aunts, uncles, cousins and an abundance of best friends.
A memorial will be held in Jack's honor on September 17 at 4 pm at the Mink Creek Group Area at Scout Mountain. Friends who wish may send contributions to the Jack Stalder Memorial fund which has been set up for his family at Wells Fargo Bank.

I'm so sorry for the loss of Jack! He was an awesome friend and I will always cherish the time that I spent with him. Jack was always very true to himself!! He liked to keep me on my toes and he was a very loyal friend!! I was very happy to see him find his true love in life and have two beautiful children! This world was blessed to have you Jack! My love goes out to Jack's wife Marsha, his little girls and his sister Rebecca! My love goes out to Jack's parents Erini and Terry Stalder as well. Thank you both for treating me so well growing up! I remember a lot of laughter! Unfortunately I am unable to attend his service but you will all be in my thoughts and prayers. I love you all and am so sorry again for your loss!!

It was just over a year ago I seen you at the pub. I noticed you weren't wearing any shoes.?.? I asked what happened? You snickered and said you had "lost" one of your flip flops and it felt weird walking around with only one shoe. I helped you look for your flip flop to no avail. Still don't no if you ever found it. Well, now your running on the clouds my friend, you don't need shoes. God speed.

There cwill be a void in my heart forever my dear nephew. You touched my life in soooo many ways. I have sweet memories to share about you and they are precious. I grew up with Jack! His mom and my mom were friends and worked together. Through the school years, we went to school together. this world has lost a very dear soul, way to early. He was a great person. He stuck out in a crowd not because he had to be center attention, because he was someone everyone wanted to know. He was actually a laid back person with an amzing soul. This breaks my heart for many reasons. I hope he knew what an impact he had on this world. He will forever be loved and missed. Til we see you again, My dear friend. Fish with the best of them, K? To all of his family... grief is hard to deal with be kind and stay together. Remember he will always be with you. Always.... You get have to learn to see him differently! May he rest in peace and see all our love!

To Jack, the best friend anyone could ever hope for, with a ton of heart and a ton of compassion that he never spared to a friend in need. He always tried to make things a little better for you in any way he could, when he sensed the need. You'll be missed deeply by all those you knew and loved, but your legacy will forever remain because of the nature of your attachments to those you loved.

I met Jack in 2007 when I moved to Pokey through my friend, his best friend Lindsey. He was such a riot when we use to party with him. We became friends on Facebook also and I followed through his marriage and the birth of his 2 beautiful daughters. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends may Jack RIP
