Lola Rowe Shook
CHUBBUCK - Lola passed away peacefully at her home from a sudden illness on August 23, 2012. She was born February 28, 1940, in McCammon, Idaho, to Ed and Ruth Rowe. She loved growing up in the country and helping with the chores.
Lola married Virgil Olsen and they later divorced. She then married her love and companion of 33 years, Dale A. Shook. She enjoyed her time traveling with her husband to different job sites.
She loved the outdoors, camping and riding her ATV especially with her grandkids. She is, and forever will be, greatly missed by her family.
She is survived by her husband, Dale Shook; son, Bruce "Butch" (Michelle) Olsen; daughter, Cindy (David) Robbins; stepson, David (Alayna) Shook; stepdaughter, Annette Shook; grandchildren, Alyssa, Erin, C.J., Cheyenne, Jeremie, Chauntel, Erin, Tanner, Jacob, Alexandra, Payge, Teague, Chase, Trayton, Mike, Andrew and Josh; great-grandchildren, Payton, Jordyn, Jaislyn and Jayde.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother who died at birth and Katherine "K.C." Shook.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, August 29, 2012, at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W. Chubbuck Road, Chubbuck, Idaho. Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 28, 2012, at the funeral home and one hour prior to the services on Wednesday. Interment will follow services on Wednesday in the Norton Cemetery in McCammon.
