Craig McCullough Obituary

On June 6, 1965, the heavens rejoiced as Craig Anthony McCullough was born to Chuck and Sue (Kalousek) McCullough in Mt. Home, Idaho. Craig began his education at St. Paul's Catholic school, attended West Junior High, and graduated from Nampa Senior High School in 1983. His family built a home on Sugar Avenue where they turned a modest acre into a family farm. Craig milked goats, fed the chickens, cows, rabbits, pigs, and horses. He loved to build forts in the hay loft and slide down the metal roof sheds. The day after his high school graduation he began working at Armours Meat where he perfected his lifetime skill as a meat cutter. In 1988, Craig married Angie Harris, and together they were blessed with his first daughter, Krista Marie. Later, while employed at Micron Technology, Craig met and fell deeply in love with Shannon M. Pierson. They were married on April 21, 1994 and began their lives together with his daughter Krista, and Shannon's two children Kristlyn and Sean. They moved to Lewiston, Idaho and in 1999, Emilee Shannon McCullough was born. Their lives were forever entwined. Craig adored his family and believed that they were his greatest accomplishment in life. Craig was employed by Rosauers in Lewiston until he accepted a position with Costco in Clarkston, Wash., where he worked for the past 12 years. Craig's Costco family was very dear to his heart. He cherished the relationships and bonds he formed, and looked forward to seeing those who served "today's demo". Craig's passion for hunting, fishing, camping, and boating will live on through the lives of those who spent countless hours in his company. The size of Craig's heart is beyond comprehension. He loved truly, madly, deeply. Craig will be missed by all who had the opportunity to experience his Christ like countenance, warm embrace, gentle touch and contagious smile. Craig accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior and was baptized in the river. On October 20th 2010, he returned to his creator. Craig is survived by both his parents; Boise, his children Krista 23, Nampa; Kristlyn 21, Sean 17, Emilee 13, granddaughter Jolie one yr; all of Clarkston; two sisters and spouses: Kimberly (Chris) Beaux, Laurie (Greg) Baisch, both of Meridian; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. A Celebration of Craig's Life will be held at Faith Tabernacle in Lewiston on Nov. 4th at 2 p.m. and at River City Church (7540 W. Northview St. Boise, Idaho), on Nov. 6th at 2 p.m. Malcom's Brower-Wann Funeral Home in Lewiston, Idaho is handling the arrangements.

Craig & I have always been friends since 6th grade, all during those years we laughed so much in class, got into trouble a couple of times...When I heard the news I was in complete state of shock, awe and sadness. I pray to God that the McCullough family, especially the kids, will pull thru with the great strength that is Jesus Christ. May God Bless you All during these times and the coming years!!
