Roger Moore Obituary

Roger W. Moore Roger W. Moore, 65 of Boise, died June 16, 2008 at a Boise hospital. He was the son of William and Marie Moore, born Nov. 14, 1942 in Nampa. He was reared and educated in Nampa and Boise. He attended St. Theresa's Academy. He married Alice Pape, Dec. 28, 1963. They made their home and raised their family in Emmett and Boise. Roger worked as a truck driver and a cab driver for many years. He loved to camp, fish and hunt. He attended Catholic Church at St. Johns, Our Lady of the Rosary, and Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Meridian. He loved to bowl and he was a quiet home body. He was quite a conversationalist in his cab. He worked for Yellow and ABC for 25 years. He was preceded in death by his son, Jim; his father, and a brother, Russell. He is survived by his mother, Marie Moore, his wife Alice Moore, his son and daughter in law, William L. and Kimberly Moore; grandchildren, Brian Lawrence Moore and Amelia Leanne Moore; brothers, Stanley E. Moore and Tom Moore; sister Shirley Howard, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held at 6 o'lcock p.m., Thursday, June 19th at St. Mark Catholic Church, 7960 Northview St, Boise. A Vigil Service with Recitation of the Rosary will follow at 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 o'clock a.m, Friday, June 20, 2008 at St. Marks Catholic Church. A reception will be held immediately following the Mass at St. Mark's School Cafeteria. Private Committal services will be under the direction of Bowman Funeral Parlor.
