Honea Path, SC

Harvey Junior Bratcher, 70, husband of Edna Waldrup Bratcher, of 113 Gunnells Rd, died Sunday, November 8, 2015 at his home.

Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late Robert Harvey and Lottie Lucille Richey Bratcher. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and was retired from Owens-Corning of Anderson.

Surviving are two sons, Lamar Bratcher of Belton and Jamie Bratcher of Pendleton, three brothers, Milford, Ray, and Horace Bratcher, two sisters, Lucille Fischer and Ann Brown, and two grandchildren, Mason and Gracie Bratcher.

He was predeceased by a brother, Haynie Bratcher and a sister Mary Lou Bratcher.

Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at Bethany Baptist Church with Rev. Carrol Plemmons and Rev. David Kelly officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family is at the home and will receive friends from 2 to 3 PM Tuesday at the church prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Harvey Bratcher Fund, PO Box 266, Honea Path, SC 29654. Online condolences may be made at www.ParkerWhitePruitt.com
