Sybil Shockley Obituary
ABBEVILLE, S.C.
Sybil Robinson Shockley, 85, of Abbeville died Friday, December 26, 2014 at the Abbeville Nursing Home.
She was born in Abbeville County to the late Jacob and Ada Phillips Robinson. Ms. Shockley retired from Milliken after many years of dedicated service. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends and will always be remembered for her loving and contagious smile.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.
Ms. Shockley is survived by her son, Harold 'PeeWee' Shockley and his wife, Donna, of Abbeville; two sisters, Inez Hughes, of Columbia, S.C. and Dora Cudd of Abbeville; her grandsons, Harold 'Champ' Shockley, and his wife, Alicia, of Abbeville and Blake Shockley and his wife, Lindsey, of Honea Path; and two precious great-grandchildren, Thomas and Hadley.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Monday, December 29, 2014 at Harris Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Earl Hartley officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
Memorial contributions, in memory of Ms. Shockley, may be made to the charity of one's choice.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I worked with Miss Sybil years ago at the rug barn and she had the kindest heart you could ever find. She always talked about Champ & Blake and how much she loved them.
