William Albert Norris

William Albert Norris, 71, of 114 Farmer Street, died Saturday, April 21, 2007 at Hospice House. Born September 1, 1935 in Anderson County, he was the son of the late Albert James and Jessie Ruth Jenkins Norris. He was a retired textile employee and was of the Holiness faith. Surviving are his wife, Anna Richardson Norris of the home; daughter, Carolyn Campbell of Belton; three grandchildren including Carolyn Miller of the home; one great grandchild; and three sisters, Helena Jane Osborne, Alafair Holcombe, and Nancy Canupp, all of Anderson. He was preceded in death by a brother. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Solid Rock Holiness Church conducted by Rev. Ray Butler. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. Monday at Sullivan-King Mortuary, Northeast Chapel, 3205 North Highway 81, Anderson. The family is at the home of a sister, Alafair Holcombe, 231 Foster Street, Anderson. Flowers are optional, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
