Daisy Maxine Barnhardt

CONCORD - Daisy Maxine Barnhardt, 71, of 189 Wyoming Dr., Concord, died on Saturday, May 2, 2009, at the Bob and Carolyn Tucker Hospice House. A memorial service was conducted at 8 p.m. on Monday, May 4, 2009, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Rick Wilson, the Rev. G. P. McCullough and the Ladies of the Moose officiated. Inurnment will be later at Carolina Memorial Park. Born on June 19, 1937, in Stanly County, she was the daughter of the late Broadus Yow and Bertha Burris Yow. She retired from Blumenthal Mills in Marion, S.C. She previously worked for Cannon Mills. Mrs. Barnhardt was a member of Calvary Foursquare Church, Loyal Order of the Moose, Ladies of the Moose, Kannapolis Moose Lodge and the VFW Auxiliary. Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Barnhardt; two sons, Darnell Eudy, of Stanfield, and Eric Eudy, of Locust; three stepsons, Ronnie Barnhardt Jr., Robert Barnhardt and Roger Barnhardt, all of Concord; a sister, Miner Lancaster, of Stanfield; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Memorials may be sent to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Ln., Kannapolis, NC 28081. Lady's Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
