Mr. Bllly Michael "Mikey" Johnson, 31, of Elberton, GA, husband of Hannah Jane Gaines Johnson, passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021, at his residence.

Mikey was born in Abbeville, SC on January 17, 1990, the first of three sons of Michael Vernon "Mike" Johnson and Lisa Renee Wilhite Johnson of Calhoun Falls, SC. He had been employed by Abbeville County EMS for 13 years where he currently worked as a Paramedic and Shift Supervisor. Mikey attended Believers Baptist Church and enjoyed Braves baseball, Clemson football, and shooting archery. He was also a member of the Calhoun Falls Fire Department.

Mikey was the devoted father of the late Jack Vernon Johnson, Ezekiel Gaines Johnson, and Ellanora Claire Johnson; the best brother of Derek (Hannah) Johnson and Carson (Kelsy) Johnson; son-in-law of Steve and Melissa Gaines; and brother-in-law of Andrew (Josh) Gaines, Ben (Kenia) Gaines, and Zach (Charcey).

Funeral services celebrating Mikey's life will be held on Thursday, November 4, at 2 o'clock at Believers Baptist Church, 89 E. Clairmont Avenue, Elberton, GA with Pastor Wade Dodson officiating. Interment will follow in Latimer Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:00-1:30p.m. on Thursday prior to the service.

The family is at the residence of Steve and Melissa Gaines, 1993 Coldwater Road, Elberton, GA and at the residence of Mike and Lisa Johnson, 514 Darlington Street, Calhoun Falls, SC.
