Brenda Jay Barr
52, of Greenwood, Indiana, passed away on March 12, 2014 at her residence. Brenda was born on May 8, 1961 in Lawrenceburg, the daughter of Billy Ray and Barbara Jean (Ashcraft) Cook. She married David Barr. Brenda was a pre-school teacher at Welcome Place Pre-School and later at Adventures Pre-School. She was a member of the Heartland Church of Christ.
Survivors are David Barr, son Zachary Barr both of Greenwood, mother, Barbara Cook of Westerville, Ohio, grandmother Mildred Ashcraft of Dillsboro, sister Beth Richardson of Columbus, Indiana.
Services are Monday, March 17 at 11 a.m. in Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home, Milan. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday in the funeral home.
