David Louie Batts, III
November 17, 1952- October 10, 2013
The eldest son of David L. Batts Jr. and Carol E. Franklin Batts, preceded him in death. He attended IPS #56, Arsenal Technical HS '71, and Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN. He pledged Kappa Alpha Psi and attended Mt. Moriah MBC and New Birth BC. He worked at Inland Container, as a lead lab tech and he volunteered as math tutor. Visitation: Sat., Oct. 19, 2013 at 11 a.m. in Barnes United Methodist Church. Memorial service starts at 1 p.m. Arrangements by Williams and Bluitt Funeral Home.
