David Imel Obituary
David Joe Imel
70, of Atlanta, IN died May 26, 2012 in St. Vincent Hospital at Indianapolis. He was born May 27, 1941 in Indianapolis to Leslie Carl and Mary Frances (Fugate) Imel.
He was a graduate of Washington High School at Indianapolis. He worked as a machinist at Reeder & Kline Machine Shop at Carmel, IN for many years.
David married Emily June (Hughes) Imel on December 3, 1960. She preceded him in death March 12, 2002. In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by his parents, a grandchild, 3 brothers and a sister.
Surviving is son, John David (Sandi) Imel of Rocky Point, NC; three daughters, Julie Lynn (Ed) Yeary of Tipton, IN, Amy Elaine (Brian) Holland of Westfield, IN, and Laurie Anne (Greg) Shirley of Tipton, IN; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will occur at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Seventh day Adventist Disaster Fund.
